Girona FC Secures Partnership Renewal with Marlex Through 2026/27
Girona FC have locked in a key piece of their off‑pitch project, confirming that Human Resources firm Marlex has renewed its partnership with the club through the 2026/27 season.
The agreement stretches a relationship that began in 2023/24 and keeps Marlex firmly embedded in Girona’s day-to-day football landscape. The company will continue to occupy a prime spot on the back of the first team’s shirts and maintain its presence in youth football, a dual role that deepens both visibility and influence inside the club’s ecosystem.
For Girona, it is more than a logo deal. It is a statement of continuity at a time when the club is pushing to consolidate and grow its sporting project.
Club president Delfí Geli underlined that sense of stability and shared purpose. “We are very pleased that Marlex continues to stand by us for another season. Their confidence in the project demonstrates the strength of the relationship we have built over the years and allows us to keep moving forward with the support of companies that share our values and our way of understanding the Club's growth," he said.
The sentiment runs both ways. Marlex is not just a sponsor parachuted in from elsewhere; it is a company rooted in the same streets and ambitions as the club it backs. CEO Àlex Sanabras framed the renewal as a natural extension of that local bond.
“As a company from Girona, continuing alongside Girona FC is a testament to our commitment to the Club and the city that has seen us born and grow. We are starting a new season where it will be necessary to stay united to make the Club's return to the first division possible. Now more than ever, orgull gironí," he said.
That phrase – proud Girona – captures the tone of the deal. The club is preparing for another demanding campaign with its eyes fixed on a return to the top flight, and the message is clear: unity will be non-negotiable.
Founded in 1996, Marlex has grown into a leading Human Resources services firm, boasting three decades of experience and a network of more than 80 offices across the peninsula. Its business model leans heavily on attitude, commitment and teamwork, values it explicitly shares with Girona FC and which both sides point to as the foundation of a partnership that has strengthened season after season.
On the pitch, Girona will chase promotion. Off it, this renewal ensures they do so with a major local ally still firmly in their corner.
