Women’s Super League 2026/27 Transfer Market Dates Announced
The Women’s Super League has locked in its calendar for the 2026/27 transfer market, and the clock will start ticking early this summer.
The summer window opens on Tuesday, June 16, giving clubs a crucial stretch to reshape squads before the new campaign. Business can be done right up to 11pm (UK time) on Thursday, September 3, when the deadline slams shut and any unfinished deals are left on the table.
Then comes the mid-season reset. The winter window will swing open on Monday, January 4, 2027, with teams granted another chance to fix problems, cover injuries or gamble on a title push. That period runs until 11pm on Thursday, February 4.
Recent history shows how decisive those windows can be. Last summer brought a flurry of arrivals: Chloe Kelly, Taylor Hinds, Anneke Borbe and Olivia Smith all came through the door, adding quality and depth across the pitch. January then delivered Smilla Holmberg and a loan move for Barbora Votikova, underlining how the winter market can sharpen a squad at a critical moment.
With the dates now set, recruitment teams know exactly how long they have to get their plans right – or be left chasing the pack.
