Juventus Pursues Kolo Muani and Sorloth for Summer Overhaul

Juventus are preparing for a summer overhaul up front, and Randal Kolo Muani is right back in the middle of their plans.

The French forward, who reignited his season in Turin with ten goals in 22 appearances in the second half of 2024-25, is open to returning to the Allianz Stadium, according to multiple reports. Juventus have taken note. They remain in talks with Paris Saint-Germain while also pushing ahead with a move for Alexander Sorloth.

This is not a cosmetic refresh. It’s a rebuild.

Dusan Vlahovic will walk away as a free agent when his contract expires on June 30, leaving a huge hole at the tip of the attack. Lois Openda and Jonathan David, both expected to be long-term pillars when they arrived, have underwhelmed in their debut campaign in Turin. Their inconsistent impact has convinced the club to listen to offers for both this summer, opening the door for a new strike partnership.

The Plan

The plan is clear: Kolo Muani and Sorloth as the new spearhead.

Talks with Atletico Madrid for Sorloth are already at an advanced stage. Juventus have reached an agreement with the Norway international, putting that deal on a solid track. At the same time, they are working a parallel line with PSG for Kolo Muani, trying to prise him away from a club where he no longer fits.

Luis Enrique does not see the 25-year-old as part of his project. PSG are not planning to offer the former Tottenham loanee a new deal, despite his contract running until June 2028. That stance has opened a window for Juventus, who know exactly what they would be getting after his productive half-season in black and white.

The Sticking Point

The sticking point is the fee.

Tuttosport report that PSG value Kolo Muani at around €35 million. Juventus are drawing a line closer to €30 million, unwilling to go beyond that figure for a player they believe is keen on the move. The gap is not enormous, but it is real.

There is a potential compromise on the table. The Ligue 1 champions could accept a loan with an obligation to buy, tied to conditions that are almost certain to be met. That structure would ease the immediate financial hit for Juventus while giving PSG the guarantees they want on the overall package, protected by the length of the player’s current deal.

Kolo Muani’s stance is helping Juventus’ cause. After his impact in Turin last season, he is reportedly eager to return, even without the lure of Champions League football in 2026-27. That kind of commitment, in a market where many players move primarily for European exposure, will not go unnoticed in the Juventus boardroom.

Juventus need goals, mobility, and a new identity in the final third. Kolo Muani has already shown he can deliver all three in their colours. Now the question is whether the club can turn his willingness into a second spell in Turin – and reshape their attack around him and Sorloth before the new season kicks off.
